Reddwerks Corporation Now Shipping Reddwerks v3.2 WPM Software

AUSTIN, Texas – August 4, 2008 – Reddwerks® announced today that it is shipping and deploying Reddwerks v3.2 of its industry-leading Warehouse Performance Management (WPM) solution.

Reddwerks WPM provides a single order-filling solution independent of picking technology. Reddwerks WPM v3.2 utilizes IBM WebSphere MQ to provide better integration with more options. WPM v3.2 also provides more power to the Quality Control (QC) workstation. Our integration framework has been improved to support FTP, Socket, XML, and IBM MQ Series adapters with full audit, transaction recovery, and failover.

The improved integration options offer increased conveyor messages and take advantage of weigh-in-motion devices. The QC application has the ability to work with a dimensioning system in addition to simply logging the weight. The QC application can update product information based on real-time results to improve cubing efforts and potentially reduce shipping needs.

Our mobile platform has been improved to include Open and Blind QC applications that allow QC functions and task interleaving anywhere in the warehouse, and PTL diagnostic and maintenance applications. With the Diagnostics and Maintenance application, workers can use the mobile computer to perform hardware diagnostics and to update the system while replacing hardware components such as pick modules, bay displays, and line controllers

WPM v3.2 also includes equipment exceptions reporting for print and apply equipment, fixed scanners, mobile RF units, voice units, and mobile printers.

“We are pleased to strengthen our integration systems in the WPM v3.2,” said Jean Bélanger, Founder/CEO of Reddwerks. “Our ability to successfully integrate with more external systems at lower costs improves our internal integration allowing our clients to minimize work effort and possibly shipping costs.”

Reddwerks v3.2 began shipping in Q3/2008 and is already in use at several customer sites.
