Reddwerks Corporation Hires Trey Chambers as Vice President of Operations and CFO
AUSTIN, Texas – January 7, 2009 – Reddwerks® is proud to announce that Trey Chambers is joining the company as Vice President of Operations and CFO.
Trey joins Reddwerks with more than 15 years of experience and will oversee business operations such as finance, accounting, human resources, and procurement. He will develop Reddwerks’ financial plan and oversee all financial matters, including internal and external financial reports, budgeting projections, and earnings forecasts.
Before joining Reddwerks, Trey was most recently with Freescale Semiconductor, a multi-billion dollar provider of semiconductors for transportation, networking, and wireless markets. During his tenure at Freescale, Trey served as CFO for the $2.6B Transportation and Standard Products segment of the business and subsequently as the corporation’s Chief Audit Officer. Prior to Freescale, Trey was Controller and later VP Finance at Metrowerks, a global provider of software development tools, and also was in audit at PriceWaterhouse.
He has been responsible for:
- Blending business finance and audit backgrounds to lead the financial side of global operations
- Various investments, merger and acquisition activity, profit improvement, and working capital improvement
- Long/term and short-term forecasting and analysis of numerous aspects of business
- Evaluating and improving the effectiveness of a multi-national organization’s risk management, controls, governance and SOX compliance processes
